What we say
They're the consummate kids' party snack, and it's unlikely that anyone is under the impression that CHEEZELS are highly nutritious. We're bemused that the manufacturer seems to want to convince us otherwise, by asserting on the packaging that CHEEZELS are 'made with the goodness of real cheese.' Well yes, they do contain 3% cheese powder. But this amount is unlikely to make much of a difference to the overall nutrition of the snack, such as providing the calcium we'd expect as part of the 'goodness' of real cheese.
As with most chips, CHEEZELS are best considered a party snack or occasional treat - but good luck trying to stop kids from eating any more than one per finger!
