What we say
The packaging of HEINZ Little Kids Yoghurt Muesli Fingers is only just big enough to carry the ingredient list - it's one long, complicated list. What it all boils down to is that these fingers are very high in sugar, and the biggest contributor to their 'real fruit' content is fruit juice concentrate. They're also very high in saturated fat, which isn't great for a kids' snack.
They contain 18% oats and 7% apple, and the individually wrapped portions are convenient as a portable snack or for your child's lunchbox. But genuinely 'real fruit' - sliced or diced to suit little hands - with some natural yoghurt is a healthier option, and there are better ways to get their cereal fix.
Additives listed: Emulsifier (soy lecithin, 492), sulphur dioxide (220).
