What we say

Cheese slices are convenient for sandwiches and lunchboxes, as a snack on their own, or with a salad. KRAFT Singles are high in fat and salt, but cheese by definition is generally a high fat, high salt product, so that comes as no surprise. At least individually wrapped slices helps serve as a form of portion control.

But just one 21g slice provides over 20% of the upper level of daily sodium intake acceptable for an eight-year-old. So if your child's a big cheese fan and one slice just isn't enough, you may want to look for reduced fat and salt options.

Additives listed: Food acid (270, 331), Mineral salt (339, 341), Preservative (200), Natural colour (160b).
