What we say
PAULS Yoghurt with Real Fruit is low in fat and saturated fat for a dairy product. One tub provides around 18% of an eight-year-old's recommended dietary intake of calcium and just over 2 teaspoons of sugar, which is around 7% of the amount of sugar that's reasonable for an eight-year-old to consume in one day. The yoghurt comes in small 100g tubs which is a good size for little tummies.
The 'real fruit' referred to in the name is a bit of a stretch, considering it contains just 3% strawberry, and an unspecified amount of elderberry and vegetable juice.
Yoghurts are an excellent source of calcium and protein. Depending on which yoghurt you buy, they can also have too much fat and sugar. PAULS Yoghurt with Real Fruit is low in fat and sugar compared to many kids yoghurt, but buying natural yogurt and adding fruit is a better option still.
Additives: Vegetable gum (440), Food Acids (331, 330), Mineral salt (509).
